Huawei launched the first foldable smartphone in the Nova series, as the Huawei Nova Flip was launched on 5^th August 2024. The phone comes with a 6.94-inch display with a resolution of 1136 x 2690 pixels and a 2.14-inch 2^nd display with a 480 x 480 pixels resolution, a punch hole notch on the top, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. Huawei Nova Flip runs on HarmonyOS 4.2. The offers a Kirin 8000 chipset, an Octa Core processor, and 12 GB of RAM. The Nova Flip comes in 3 storage options, such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

The phone comes with a dual rear camera of 50 MP with a f/1.9 aperture and a RYYB sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a punch hole 32 MP front camera. It can record 4K and 1080p videos with both the front and back cameras. The phone features a 4400mAh battery capacity with 66W fast charging support, and the company claims in an advertisement that it will charge 0-100% in just 40 minutes.
