Samsung has launched the Galaxy Ultra Watch on 10^th July 2024. It is a sports watch that comes with a 1.5-inch display and plenty of features, and after wearing the watch for four days, it really impressed me by the features that I had not seen in any other sports watch. The watch comes with health and fitness tools like sleep apnea detection and much more.

Galaxy Ultra Watch Specifications and Price

The watch comes in one size, which is 44mm. It’s made from grade 4 titanium, which comes in two colors, either gray or white. It features dual-frequency GPS, which means it has access to L1 and L5 bands. an IP68 water and dust resistant, which is also 10 ATM. a Bluetooth 5.3 and cellular connectivity, and a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 480×480 resolution and peak brightness of 3000 nits. It’s powered by the Exynos W1000 Chipset, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM storage, and it’s running on Android Wear OS 5.

Ultra Watch features a 590mAh battery capacity with 10W wireless charging support. The battery lasts up to 100 hours when the display is mostly off and lasts up to 60 hours when power saving mode is off and the display is always on, so display life is based on the user and how the user uses it.

The watch also features a siren, which means if you need any help, you can hold the quick button for 5 seconds to activate a siren for help, and an 86-decibel high sound can be heard over the 180 meters and calls the helpline number automatically.

Now come to pricing, it’s priced at ₹59,999, and it’s available on e-commerce websites like Amazon, Samsung, Flipkart, etc. You will get an EMI option with interest-free and some bank offers on Amazon if you purchase a minimum value of ₹20,000, and then you get an instant ₹6,000 discount on all bank cards.

What is new in Galaxy Ultra Watch?

There is the bioactive sensor, which helps to track the usual rate of ECG and body composition, but now it is 30% more accurate and can also measure something called AGEs (Advanced Glycation End products), giving you a glimpse into how your diet and lifestyle affect the aging process. This feature can be a very helpful tool to adjust your diet or exercise routine to prevent future health issues.

2^nd, the watch has double the storage as compared to its predecessor, from 16GB to 32GB. now you don’t have to worry about the space.

3^rd, The watch can detect sleep apnea. It is a condition where you temporarily stop breathing during the night. You will get an alert on your phone if the watch detects an anomaly.

Overall, this is a lovely watch, the design looks cool. It is perfect in terms of operating system, fluidity, and performance. it comes with many AI features that track your health condition and give you a daily score, a good, long-lasting battery, and it also has many other features, such as a siren that helps in trouble.
