Google Pixel Watch 3 Cannot Be Fixed Once Broken, Company Reportedly Confirms Lack of Repair Options

In short

  • Google has confirmed that the Pixel Watch 3 is not repairable.
  • Users have to buy Google’s preferred care protection plan to get a replacement.
  • The protection plan costs $4/month, $49/year, and $89 for 2 years.

Google has confirmed that the recently launched Google Pixel Watch 3 is not repairable. In a recent report, Google has confirmed a lack of hardware support. This simply means it can be replaced only if you have purchased Google’s preferred care protection plan, which costs a $49 fee per year for the watch, then it’s able to get a replacement. Otherwise, customers have to find other third-party repair solutions or purchase a new watch.

The same thing happened to the first-generation pixel watch model that Google did not offer any repair options for the device, and it also happened with the Pixel Watch 2, which was launched in 2023. Now the same case happened with the Watch 3, and it’s also replaceable only.

However, the representative of Google, Erin Cizek, has confirmed via email that those who have damaged Pixel Watch 3 can contact the Google Pixel Support Team to check for replacements.

Also note, if you don’t have purchased Google’s preferred care plan with the Pixel Watch 3 or separately within 30 days of your purchase, then you are not eligible for the replacement.
