Qualcomm silently introduces Snapdragon 6 Gen 3

Qualcomm’s new chipset called Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 has been silently seen on the company website recently. The latest chipset, the Snapdragon 6 gen 3, has improved AI performance for tasks like noise cancellation during calls and activity tracking. However, the chipset is similar to the Snapdragon 7 gen 2.

Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 features an octa-core CPU (4×2.4 GHz cortex-A78 cores) and 4×1.8 GHz cortex-A55 cores, which is similar to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2’s specs, but in the efficiency core clock, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 runs at 1.95 GHz, and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 supports Full HD+ resolution at 120 Hz refresh rate, while the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 has 144 Hz.

In the camera section, the chipset has a Spectra Triple ISP that can handle a 200 MP photo capture and 4K video recording at 30 fps. Also the Company used an Adreno 710 GPU, which supports both LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM versions but only features UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity.
