Redmi Watch 5 Lite arrives with an AMOLED screen, Bluetooth calling, and GPS

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 5 Active last month, and now the company has launched the new variant of smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 5 Lite. Meanwhile, the watch looks similar to the Watch 5 Active except for the always-on AMOLED display instead of the LCD display. The watch is priced at INR 3999, and the sale starts on 26 September, and you can buy it on the Xiaomi Indian website.

The watch features a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a 410 x 502 pixels resolution, a typical brightness of 600 nits, and it supports 200+ cloud water faces, of which 50+ are custimisable as well, and 30+ faces are always on.

It features in-built GPS as well that tracks your every action, even when your phone is not with you. It has 5ATM water resistance, which can prevent your watch in 50-meter-deep water and also monitors your every stroke and lap while swimming.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 Lite runs on HyperOS, and it also comes with Alexa, supports Hindi language, and has emojis as well. Meanwhile, it supports Bluetooth calling too and offers a speaker and two microphones for environmental noise cancellation to achieve clear calls.

However, to track your health score, the watch features a heart rate sensor and supports 140+ outdoor and indoor sports modes. It can track your swimming performance as well; it features a multifunctional side button and has a 470mAh battery capacity. The company claimed in an advertisement that the battery offers 18 days for general usage and 12 days for heavy usage.

The watch weighs 29.2g without straps, and the straps are made up of TPU and have an adjustable length of 134-200mm. The watch is available in black and light gold colours, and the straps come in three colour options, including candy pink, mint green, and lemon yellow.
