As many fans came to Paris to watch the Olympics live, many fans were watching the Olympics from home, so Samsung helped them watch it at home. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is used to live stream each player’s action.
For kitesurfing and windsurfing events, the Galaxy S24 was mounted on sailboats and cuffs to get many angles. This work was challenging because they had to survive being sprayed with salt water and working in the hot sun all day.
To achieve the best video quality for the viewers, Samsung optimized optical image stabilization (OIS). It helps to increase transmission power. Samsung also installed cellular network relay towers on the chase boats to get a reliable connection and stabilize the stream.
The Samsung S24 Ultra comes with a 200MP rear camera, a 50MP telephoto camera (f/3.4 aperture), a 12MP ultra-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture). Features include optimized image stabilization (OIS), autofocus, optical zoom 3X and 5X, optical quality zoom 2X and 10X (enabled by an adaptive pixel sensor), a quad-telephoto system, super HDR, lithography, and digital zoom up to 100X. It can record 8K at 30 fps, FHD at 240 fps, UHD at 120 fps, and UHD 8K at 60 fps.
