Realme 13 Pro Plus is a newly launched handset of the Realme 13 series. This Plus variant’s build quality is more premium thanathatdoferies. a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 5,200 mAh battery with an 80W fast charger, a triple back camera with dual Sony sensors, and much more. After using it for a couple of weeks, there is no major update compared to Realme 12 Pro+ regarding sheer numbers. There are some hardware changes which make it easier to use. Some AI features were added, which claim to improve photography and the user experience of the mobiles; this AI also assists in editing, filesharing, and much more. It’s just like the previous year’s 12 Pro+ model. In the new Realme 13 Pro+, there is mostly some camera upgrade.
Display & DesignÂ
The design of the Realme 13 Pro+ is similar to the previous year’s model 12 Pro+, but the 13 Pro+ has a glass-back variant. Also, there is the colour option Monet Gold; the edges of the rear panel are curved, which makes it easy to hold. However, the frame is still plastic. The mobile weighs 190 g and comes in two colours: Monet Gold and Emerald Green.
The rear camera module comes circular. It is in the centre and covered by a golden ring-shaped colour, and the Hyperimage+ logo is at the bottom to enhance the picture quality. Button placements are the same as in the previous model. The volume and power buttons are right on the edge, and there is no button on the left edge.
The speaker grille and mic are on the top edge, and another mic, US type-C port, SIM tray, and second speaker grille are at the bottom. The mobile also has an IP65 water and dust resistance rating.
Let’s move to the display. You get a familiar-looking display. The size of the display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved panel that offers HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. There is also an option between 60 and 120Hz refresh rates. Also, there is an auto-refresh mode that adjusts the refresh rate according to what happens on the screen. The fingerprint scanner also gets under the display and is placed at the bottom. Unfortunately, the display does not support HDR.Â

Cameras
Shockingly, the Realme 13 Pro+ is the first mobile phone with a 50MP Sony LYT-701 primary sensor in a triple rear camera. There is also a good feature of a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 periscope lens and an 8 MP ultrawide lens.
The cameras are impressive at capturing detailed, dynamic range and vibrant colour images. The company also credits the Hyperimage+ AI technology for this success. Also, the AI hyperimage+ performs well, but it takes 3-4 seconds to enhance the images for the result.
Now, come to videography. The phone does a good job with both 4K and 1080p resolution while using the back camera. Stabilisation is not too good, and Ultrawide only does 1080p at 30fps. The dynamic range in 4K is quite impressive. Also, the color adjustment is also good.
BatteryÂ
The battery has a 5,200mAh capacity. The battery backup is very impressive: It lasts up to 32-35 hours while watching HD video continuously. For normal usage like scrolling Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, games, and other apps, the battery easily gives up to a day of backup. The charging is also very quick because of the 80W fast charger; the mobile gets fully charged in up to 1 hour.
Realme 13 Pro+ Software, AI
Realme 13 Pro+ uses Android 14 OS and Realme UI 5.0. In Realme 13 Pro+, you will get many useful features of bloatware on the side; the UI of the Realme 13 Pro+ is pretty cool and nice. In this series, some security threats were patched.
In this series, many AI features are introduced, like AI screen recognition, which is like a search engine for finding something. The AI Smart Loop feature is used to easily share files, text, and other things. Many more AI features are added, like AI eye comfort, which adjusts the temperature of the screen.
