The M35 comes with a pretty basic plastic back, and the color options are less attractive than the Galaxy A35. the back camera module design is minimal, it is also quite chunky, weighing more than 220 g. On the front, the bezels are also thick, so the M35 overall is not a good-looking phone for sure, and you also don’t get any form of IP rating. The dynamic range and white balance are also decent, and the way it processes greens and blues is really impressive.

However, the details on the photos are not that great. You will notice photos to be a little soft when you zoom in, and you will also notice photos are getting no noisier during low light. The portraits and selfies are also well optimized. It produces a nice skin tone, and the background blur and exposure management are really good too. You can record videos up to 4K at 30 fps from the main and front cameras. Although OIS is disabled, software-based EIS works to stabilize the videos to some extent, but the 1080p ultra wide-angle video is not coming good enough with low details and a higher noise level.

The battery is much larger than the 5000mAh industry standard, so even on heavy usage, such as watching YouTube videos and playing some games, it lasts up to 8-10 hours easily on continuous usage. Also, when the phone is on 15-20%, it lasts a couple of hours easily. The charging support is not enough fast because of the 25W charging support and the larger battery capacity. You can use any other 65W charging support so that your phone charging will complete quickly.

Overall, the Galaxy M35 is the best Samsung budget phone under 20,000. The chipset is not good enough, but if you want a battery or camera phone, then you can go for it. Also, you are getting 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches by the company, which is quite impressive. Also, when Android 15 comes out, it will be the first budget phone to receive that update.
