According to WABetainfo, this feature was spotted on Android beta 2.24.17.16v and iOS beta 24.16.10.70v and is also expected to be available soon in an upcoming WhatsApp update.
Some screenshots are shared by the feature tracker that reveals a new voice icon and will be located next to the text box in the Meta AI Chat. This update will help users to engage with the Meta AI bot. The feature will support multiple languages and have an option for captions and transcriptions that allow users to convert voice into text.

The feature aim is to make the users personable, so while chatting with the meta chat bot, it makes them feel like they are chatting with a real human.
Some other chatbots, like Google Gemini and ChatGPT, have already added the voice mode feature. On ChatGPT, users can use advanced voice mode with a natural and responsive voice, while Google gemini also features voice mode with 10 different voices.
